Natural gas is supplied to injector, in particular, into swirling chamber where it is imparted swirling motion. Blast-furnace gas is directed via scrubber and Venturi pipe into zone adjacent to axis of body of swirling natural gas to be mixed with it. Solid and liquid water particles are settled in settling chamber and natural and blast-furnace gas mixture is discharged from injector and delivered to blast furnace tuyeres.
