Zusammenfassung: | electrochemical technology; production of high-modulus waterglass used as binder in corrosion-resistant zinc silicate coats applied by electrodialysis method. SUBSTANCE: proposed method includes electrodialysis treatment of aqueous solution of sodium silicate. Electrodialysis process is performed in diaphragm apparatus at regular change of concentration and deionization paths at frequency of one to four times per four hours at maintenance of concentration of alkaline in path between 0.1 and 1 mole/1 and constant density of current from 50 to 250 A/sq.m at temperature of 40 to 60 C.
