SUBSTANCE: for producing carbon plate incorporating current lead and carbon layer on at least one side, carbon powder is mixed up with high- molecular polyethylene, mentioned mixture is press-fitted onto at least one side of current lead at high temperature; used as carbon powder is soot whose specific surface area is 1000 to 2000 sq. m/g. Industrial oil may be introduced in mixture which is then extracted by means of solvent upon plate molding; it may be also doped with stabilizing additive such as polyisobutylene or butyl rubber. Stabilizing additive content in mixture is to be 4 tp 45% of polyethylene mass. Prior to preparing mixture soot may be impregnated with glycerin, mass proportion of both being 0.3 to 1. Upon oil extraction plate is washed with water to remove glycerin and dried out, this procedure being followed by additional molding at 110-170 C and 200 to 1000 kg/sq. cm. EFFECT: improved electrical characteristics of plate. 8 cl
