SUBSTANCE: the method consists in dismantling of the existing railway bridge with subsequent displacement at least of part of its constructions afloat to a new location and erection of a new bridge on the place of the existed one. The novelty is in the fact that at dismantling of the existing double-track railway bridge with abutment bays in the form of stone arches and central metal arched framework of the struss system reinforcement of its central framework is made before dismantling of the bridge. Dismantling is started from stage-by-stage disassembly of the abutment bays, in the first stage dismantled are the abutment piers up to the level of the vault bottom of the abutment bays, then disassembled are the arches of these bays, and in the second stage disassembled are the abutment piers up to the bearing parts of the central framework. After that this framework rests on temporary supports, which are installed on ballasted floating supports in the form of barges forming a floating system, and displacement afloat of the central framework of the existing bridge to a new location is accomplished for its use as the central framework of the newly erected pedestrian overpass, and a new motor-road bridge is erected on the place of the existed railway bridge for passage of four traffic lanes in each direction with a shift of its axis relative to the axis of the existed bridge upwards by 4.0 to 4.5 m, and a new double-track railway bridge is erected from the lower side of the motor-road bridge at a distance from its axis making up at least 0.65 of its width. Optimum organization of traffic flows of the megapolis is ensured, since the railway is left on historically formed location, as a result of which there will be no negative influence on the existing urban building. The side-by-side presence of motor-road and railway bridges makes it possible to redistribute the megapolis traffic flows in the best way within the megapolis urban ring highway, which is especially important for such megapolis as Moscow.
