description FIELD: lubricating fluids. SUBSTANCE: invention relates to surfactant concentrate useful as lubricating fluid for metalworking and also as release grease for metal molds when manufacturing ferroconcrete items. Concentrate based on water and mixture of sodium and triethanolamine soaps received from synthetic fatty acid production and containing at least 1.9 mg-equ/g of soaps (calculated for fatty moiety), including at least 0.6 mg-equ/g of triethanolamine soaps, is distinguished by that it additionally contains non-soaped still bottoms from synthetic fatty acid production showing acid number 70-100 mg KOH/g. The thus modified concentrate contains 22.5-48.0 wt % of above-indicated soap mixture and 7.5-16.0 wt % of non-soaped still bottoms. EFFECT: enabled preparing emulsions with lower corrosive effect on copper alloys, lower irritating action on unprotected body surfaces, and better antiblocking properties. 4 tbl, 2 ex
