description | FIELD: copper wire and methods of its production. SUBSTANCE: copper wire has, in fact, same homogeneous nonoriented grain structure essentially having no columnar grains. Method of production of copper wire includes cutting of copper foil to form, at least, one thread of copper wire. Said foil is in form of annealed electrodeposited copper foil having, in fact, same homogeneous nonoriented grain structure, essentially, having no columnar grains and having fatigue toughness of, at least, about 25% after annealing at temperature of 177 C for 15 min and forming of said wire thread to provide for required shape of cross-section and size. Claimed invention also covers method of production of copper wire including flowing of aqueous solution of electrolyte between anode and cathode and application of effective voltage value to anode and cathode. In this case, said electrolyte solution has concentration of free chloride ions up to about 5 ppm, and concentration of organic additive up to about 0.2 ppm. Foil is cut to form, at least, one thread of wire and to shape it to have the required size of cross-section. EFFECT: higher efficiency. 43 cl, 22 dwg, 3 tbl |
