Shank for cover crop has wedge-shaped section and is provided with valve disposed in its lower part. Grass seed shank is formed as A-hoe with wedge-shaped opening disposed in its front part and adapted for receiving cover crop shank. Ends of A-hoe wings are bent upward. Plates are mounted at both sides of upright seed guide and attached to its upper central part. Apparatus is further provided with covering roller.
