Its first and second outputs are connected to paint sprayer through actuating mechanisms for supplying coating material and air - for spraying. Third, fourth, fifth and sixth outputs are connected with drive for moving manipulator in horizontal and vertical directions and for rotating it, and drive 7 for rotating base, respectively. Second and third inputs of control unit are connected with rotation angle sensors of base rotation drive and manipulator rotation drive, respectively. Fourth input is connected with light sensor for controlling positional drive. Apparatus allows contactless nondestructive control and regulation of coat thickness to be performed during applying of coat on articles of any shape having flat, cylindrical, conical, spherical and other curved surfaces. EFFECT: wider range of usages, improved quality of protective coat and enhanced reliability in operation. 3 dwg
