METHOD OF PREPARING ELASTIC POLYURETHANE FOAM FOR MANUFACTURING SOFT FURNITURE MEMBERS

FIELD: chemistry of polyurethanes, more particularly manufacture of molded elastic polyurethane foam in furniture industry. SUBSTANCE: method comprises reacting mixture of hydroxyl- containing compounds, organosilicon foam stabilizer, foaming agent, catalyst and isocyanate component, molding composition, foaming and hardening. Mixture of hydroxyl- containing compounds is mixture having mean equivalent weight of 1000-1280 and mean functionality of 2.8-3.2. Mixture comprises oxypropylated diol having molecular weight of 5000, oxyethylated diol having molecular weight of 10,000, oxyethylated pentaerythrite having molecular weight of 500 and/or nitrogen containing oligoether having molecular weight of 200, and catalyst is mixture of 1,4-diazabicyclo (2.2.2) octane, dimethylethanol amine and/or urea in amount of 0.6-1.0 wt part per 100 wt parts of mixture of hydroxyl-containing compounds.
