Zusammenfassung:	FIELD: rolling, running of working rolls in continuous multistand machines of cold rolling of sheet steel. SUBSTANCE: method involves alternation of running of roll in stand with its repolishing and rearrangement in stands starting from last one counter to running as hardness of barrel diminishes. To raise resistance of roll it is rearrangement is carried out with decrease of hardness of barrel by 1-2 Shore hardness units. Roll is installed in first stand of rolls before installation of roll into stand next to last. EFFECT: prolonged service life of rolls with preservation of quality of rolled products. 1 tbl
