Before passing the current powder Ni(OH)2 is mixed with electrolyte. Anode current density is selected within 0.7-0.9 A/sq.cm, and ratio of areas of anode and cathode is selected within the range of 2.8-3.2. The device for embodiment of the offered method has anode and cathode made in the form of coaxial cylinders of nickel screen placed in body, device for agitation of electrolyte in the form of propeller mixer. Cathode is located inside anode symmetrically to it. EFFECT: accelerated process of oxidation, production of nickelic hydroxide with higher value of specific capacitance close to theoretical value of 0.265 Ah/g. 2 cl, 1 dwg, 3 tbl
