Zusammenfassung:FIELD: means of fire safety on spacecraft; investigation of burning characteristics of materials using large samples, data on values of limit velocity of blowing-off of sample under conditions of microgravity when effect of natural convection may be neglected. SUBSTANCE: cylindrical reaction chamber with moving mechanism installed vertically, plugged from lower end and is communicated in the upper part with airtight vessel accommodating above chamber, coaxially with it, removable protective cover, ignition device and sample ignited from its lower end and attached to cylindrical holder with moving mechanism. Vertical motion of sample opposite to reaction chamber motion is effected with the help of one or two mechanisms of displacement. Clearance between chamber walls and sample is selected so that no burning takes place at sample side surface. EFFECT: higher accuracy and reliability of data value of limit velocity of blowing-off of sample under conditions of microgravity. 1 dwgr
