Zusammenfassung:FIELD: organic chemistry. SUBSTANCE: derivatives of thiazole or their acid additive salts having formula I where R is C2-5-alkyl with unbranched chain and substituted by chlorine atom in 2-position is prepared by interaction of 3,5-dichloro-2-alkanone having formula (V) with inorganic thiocyanate. Thus obtained 3-thiocyanate-5-chloro-2-alkanone having formula (IV) is then converted into 2-chloro-4-methyl-5-(2-chloroalkyl)-thiazole having formula (II). The latter process takes place in organic solvent by interaction with gaseous hydrogen chloride. Then compound having formula (II) is hydrogenated, the process takes place in organic solvent in the presence of metal catalyst. EFFECT: improved efficiency of the method. 15 clm
