The apparatus for carrying out the process comprises a spreader roll for each of the adhesive films (16, 30), a device for uniformly applying the core mixture (24), first means for forming an adjustable run-in angle ( beta ) and the wedge gap (40), second means for supporting the lower adhesive film (16) and third means for final pressing and heating, as well as a cutting-to-length device.
