description 1. Bearing arrangement for supporting a wheel set of a railway vehicle in a boggle frame, the wheel set being mounted by means of axle bearing housings (4) or by means of axle bearing housings (4) and adapters (4a) without interposition of spring elements directly in the side cheeks (1) of the frame, the springing of the vehicle body being effected through a cradle of the bogie, the side cheeks (1) being connected to one another by a connection rigid against thrust forces, and there being provided at the topside of the axle bearing housing (4) or the adapter (4a) a supporting surface (13) on which the side cheek (1) is supported with an optionally plane supporting surface (20) of a supporting shoe (21) fast with the side check, and which is curved to be rotationally parallel to the wheel set, characterized in that the supporting surface (13) is formed on the axle bearing housing (4) or adapter (4a) by a separate stationary supporting plate (10), the supporting surface (20) of the supporting shoe (21) is plane or is concave from below about an axis extending parallel to the longitudinal direction of the bogie, and that between the two supporting surfaces there is mounted a roll rocker (15) provided with side guides (abutment surfaces 18 and abutment dogs 19) and having bearing surfaces (16 and 17) which so correspond to the supporting surfaces (13, 20 respectively) of the supporting plate (10) and of the supporting shoe (21), there being rotational symmetry with respect to these surfaces, that the supporting surface (13) of the supporting plate (10) has a smaller radius than the corresponding bearing surface (16) of the roll rocker (15), and the supporting surface (20) of the supporting shoe (21) has a larger radius than the corresponding bearing surface (17) of the roll rocker (15).
