Invenţia se referă la un sistem multisenzor inteligent, de observare şi supraveghere, care permite navigarea/operarea în câmpul tactic al vehiculelor, în condiţii dificile de vizibilitate şi mediu, ca, de exemplu, ploaie, ceaţă, fum. Sistemul conform invenţiei este alcătuit dintr-un bloc de senzori faţă (BSF), dispus pe o platformă cu posibilitate de rotire în plan orizontal şi vertical, blocul (BSF) cuprinzând: o cameră (CT) de termoviziune, pentru vederea pe timp de noapte, o cameră (CZ) color cu CCD, pentru vederea pe timp de zi, şi un dispozitiv (DPC) de protecţie şi curăţare elemente optice, dintr-un bloc de senzori spate (BSS), dispus în partea din spate a vehiculului şi cuprinzând: o cameră (CT) de termoviziune şi o cameră (CZ) color cu CCD, pentru vederea pe timp de zi, şi dintr-o unitate de comandă şi monitorizare (UCM), ce are rolul de a afişa imaginile furnizate de senzorii optici ai blocurilor de senzori (BSF şi BSS), şi de a comanda funcţiile sistemului.
