The method for using the equipment, as claimed by the invention, involves the sediment separation from anthropic objects during the travel of the equipment, the sediment being taken from the field by a collecting blade (1) which feeds the sediments to a rotary cylinder (2) while aerating it, after which the sediments are sent to the screen system (3) where the macro wastes are eliminated in the microplastics collecting container system (4), the material resulting from the screening process being taken over by the electrostatic separation module (E) where the microplastics particles are concentrated on the surface of the positively polarized metal plates wherefrom they may be recovered and the resulting sediment material is returned to the nature.
