PROCESS FOR PREPARING COLLAGEN EXTRACTS OF BOVINE CARTILAGE FOR MEDICAL USES

The invention relates to a process for preparing collagen extracts of bovine cartilage for medical uses. According to the invention, the process consists of an alkaline treatment applied to the raw material, bovine cartilage, with NaOH 1...5 M, related to the bath, for 5...8 h at the room temperature, followed by successive treatments with 1...10% hydrochloric acid, citric acid and lactic acid, respectively, mechanical processing, followed by filtration, homogenization and purification, to result in a gel of high purity, with a dry matter content of 1.3...2.6% and pH 2...4. Invenţia se referă la un procedeu de obţinere a extractelor colagenice din cartilaj bovin, pentru aplicaţii medicale. Procedeul conform invenţiei constă în tratamentul alcalin al materiei prime, cartilaj bovin, cu NaOH 1...5 M, raportat la flotă, timp de 5...8 h la temperatura camerei, urmat de tratamente succesive cu 1...10% acid clorhidric, respectiv, acid citric şi acid lactic, prelucrări mecanice, urmate de filtrare, omogenizare şi purificare, rezultând un gel cu puritate ridicată, având un conţinut de substanţă uscată de 1,3...2,6 % şiH de 2...4.
