description The invention relates to a heliothermal actuator with bimetallic coil excited under the action of solar radiation, the actuator being meant for actuation of specific equipments, such as thermal protection systems, centralized locking/unlocking systems, sun-orientation systems and the like. According to the invention, the actuator comprises a thermo-dynamic converter made of a thermo-bimetallic strip (1) modelled according to a plane helical circular path and placed inside a brass enclosure (4) forming an assembly located in the focus point of a parabolic concentrator (8), the entire assembly comprising the thermo-dynamic converter and the brass enclosure (4) being covered with a glass lid (5) provided with a channel through which the deformation of the thermo-bimetallic coil (1), as converted into force and angular displacement, is transmitted by means of a spur (9) and a flexible cable (10) to the element to be actuated, where, for enhancing the actuator performance, metallic balls (11) are placed among its turns. Invenţia se referă la un actuator heliotermic cu spirală bimetalică excitată sub acţiunea radiaţiei solare, actuatorul fiind destinat acţionării unor echipamente specifice, cum sunt protecţiile termice, sistemele centralizate de închidere/deschidere, sistemele de orientare după soare, şi altele asemenea. Actuatorul conform invenţiei este constituit dintr-un convertor termodinamic realizat dintr-o bandă (1) termobimetalică, modelată după un traseu circular elicoidal plan, şi plasată într-o incintă (4) din alamă, formând un ansamblu dispus în focarul unui concentrator (8) parabolic, iar tot ansamblul format din convertorul termodinamic şi incinta (4) din alamă este acoperit cu un capac (5) din sticlă, prevăzut cu un canal prin care deformaţia spiralei (1) termobimetalice, convertită în forţă şi deplasare unghiulară, este transmisă prin intermediul unui pinten (9) şi al unui cablu (10) flexibil la elementul acţionat, iar pentru creşterea performanţei actuatorului, au fost utilizate bile (11) metalice plasate între spirele acestuia.
