Invenţia se referă la o metodă de determinare a unui parametru într-un sistem fizic reprezentând comportarea electrică a unei compoziţii. Metoda constă în determinarea unui model prin stabilirea unei relaţii între cel puţin o proprietate electrică a compoziţiei, o mulţime de variabile fizice a numiţilor parametri, şi măsurând o primă proprietate electrică a acestei compoziţii. Se alege o mostră reprezentativă pentru numita compoziţie, şi se măsoară o a doua proprietate electrică a mostrei, pentru diverse magnitudini, a cel puţin uneia din variabilele fizice. Se alege o funcţie de incoerenţă, definind o diferenţă între proprietăţile electrice măsurate şi proprietăţile electrice calculate prin numita relaţie, această funcţie de incoerenţă fiind astfel că măsurători independente sunt ponderate în dependenţă de exactitatea lor.
