Inventia se refera la un procedeu si un sistem de verificare a unei retele de dispozitive de incalzire, ventilare si conditionare a aerului (dispozitive HVAC), care verifica capacitatea de comunicare a unuia sau mai multor dispozitive HVAC (12, 14, 16, 18, 20 si 22) dintr-o retea de comunicatii (24), continand un dispozitiv de control (10) al retelei, care trimite un tip particular de mesaje dispozitivelor HVAC. Fiecare dispozitiv HVAC, care receptioneaza mesajul, va initia un afisaj pe un panou de afisare (32), plasat pe acel dispozitiv HVAC. Fiecare dispozitiv HVAC poate fi verificat vizual, pentru a se confirma faptul ca dispozitivul raspunde la mesajele trimise de dispozitivul de control (10) al retelei.
