Zusammenfassung:	The invention relates to a screw with a screw head (1) and a thread (3) with a thread diameter d, wherein the screw head has a height kS which does not exceed the nominal size of the head height k of a standard screw according to DIN EN ISO 4014 with the same thread diameter, or if no size is specified in the standard for a screw with the same thread diameter, does not exceed the nominal size of the head height k of a standard screw with the next smallest thread diameter, and the screw head (1) has an inner polygonal socket or an inner multilobular socket and an outer polygonal socket or an outer multilobular socket for applying a torque. The aim of the invention is to provide such a screw which can be used universally. This is achieved in that the screw is designed such that the surface area ratio of the assumed minimum load-bearing surface area AtF in the screw head to the stressed cross-section AG in the thread is greater than or equal to 1.
