Zusammenfassung:An apparatus for adaptively treating a tumor with an alternating electric field, the apparatus comprising: an AC signal generator (1200) having a controllable output frequency; and at least one pair of electrodes (El, E2) operatively connected to the AC signal generator (1200) for applying an alternating electric field at the output frequency to the tumor selectively to destroy cells in the tumor; characterized by: a processor configured adaptively to set the output frequency of the AC signal generator (1200) based on an estimated size of the cells in the tumor during use of the apparatus in treating the tumor.
