METHOD AND SYSTEM FOR MANAGING RADIO RESOURCES IN A MOBILE COMMUNICATION NETWORK

The invention relates to a method and system for managing radio resources within a communication network comprising at least one central database REMC containing information on the scheduling of the network at a given time, and one or more mobile stations comprising a database (REMri) containing information about a radio environment of the mobile station. The invention is characterized in that it comprises at least the following steps: transmitting a communication request Rq from a mobile station (10i) to an analysis algorithm module REM (21) and to a database REMri (22) of the mobile station; analyzing using the analysis algorithm of the communication parameters contained in the request Rq by taking into account the required quality of service QoS and the parameters characterizing a radio situation at a given time sent by the REM; determining if there are any latency constraints in the request Rq; if not, transmitting the request Rq to a time-delay step (24) before re-analyzing same using the analysis module REM (21); if yes, transmitting the request Rq to initiate communication (26) and transmit the data and sending back a report containing information about events that occurred during communication.
