Zusammenfassung:	The invention relates to a drier composition for an oxidatively air-drying alkyd based coating composition, comprising: a) at least one metal complex comprising a metal and at least one nitrogen donor ligand, wherein the metal is selected from the group consisting of Fe and Mn, and wherein said at least nitrogen donor ligand is selected from the group comprising monodentate, bidentate, tridentate, tetradentate, pentadentate and hexadentate nitrogen donor ligands; and b) at least one K salt of an organic acid. The present invention also relates to a coating composition comprising said drier composition and the use thereof.
