The processing means comprise more than two function means and arrangements for measuring the interior surface (11) of the metallurgical container, applying incombustible mass on wall area and base area, measuring temperature of the melt and/or slag and/or wall, removing sample, introducing sealing means for the tap hole, and for reducing the crusts from the slag.
