A single-row root vegetables harvester composed of rod conveyors, including a pick-up conveyor with rods arranged to form a ladder and a paddle transporting conveyor, both placed along the arm of a right angle, inclined to the ground level, including a conveyor picking up towards the direction of the machine travelling path, and the paddle transporting conveyor picking up at an angle exceeding 30 degrees, which are fastened in their load-carrying frames connected in an articulated manner.The machine is also fitted with another transverse rod conveyor placed along the other arm of the right angle and fitted with rolling coulters and a depth wheel. It also has a working platform fastened to the load-carrying structure, as well as pneumatic wheels, and a mechanical system of transferring power from the tractor to the driving system of the pick-up conveyor, the paddle transporting conveyor and the transverse conveyor in the form of a jointed-telescopic shaft, an intersecting axis gear and a chain transmission, and also hydraulic engines and a container for vegetable roots and a cutting and rejecting unit, preceding the pick-up conveyor. It is characterised in that on spacious load-carrying frames (53) and (45) of the pick-up conveyor (01) and the transporting conveyor (02), ob the top, there are built on flat channel frames (64) and (54); between them, there is stretched a lifting up and blocking unit (06) of the pick-up conveyor (01) composed of a string and a servomotor. The load-carrying frame (53) of the pick-up conveyor (01) can move against the load-carrying frame (45) of the paddle transporting conveyor (02), and, on the extension of the transverse sorting hoist (03), a container for vegetable roots (04) is mounted within the spacious angular load-carrying frame (45), in an articulated manner, by means of two pairs of fastening joints (09) and (19). It also has a cutting and rejecting unit (08) to cut and reject tops and leaves of vegetables, fastened within the accessory frame (07) connected, from the top and front, with the load-carrying frame (53) of the pick-up conveyor (01), which, at the bottom and front, is fitted with a unit (0.10) picking up and pushing up the roots of vegetables during work, and it also has two hydraulic cylinders (52) and (21) to lift and lower down the transverse sorting conveyor (03) and the container (04).
