SYSTEM FOR SEPARATING HYDRAULICALLY CONVEYED SOILDS, IN PARTICULAR POWER BOILER SLAG, FROM WATER CARRYING THEM

A device for separating hydraulically-transported solid substances from water, in particular for slag from power boilers, consisting of a dredge pumping station, pipeline and push-plate conveyor, characterized in that the end part of the water-solids mixture transport system is the push-plate conveyor (1) that has a body (2) shaped as a tank (3), whereas the mixture is supplied to this tank by means of the pipeline (4), and the mixture flows above the liquid level in the tank (3) into a dampening casing (5), whereas this casing is opened from the bottom and this opening is submerged below the mixture level in the tank (3), and the flow direction is the same as the motion direction of the push-plates (6) inside the body (2), whereas the slack settles on the bottom along the flow track, and water overflows through horizontal slots (9) in the upper part in the tank (3) end uniformly on both sides into pockets (10), whereas water flows from those pockets by gravitation, whereas slag is supplied to the depot by push-plates (6) moving above the mixture top level in the tank (3).
