Zusammenfassung: | Method of producing a sulphurized lubricant additive by heating organic compounds with unsaturated bonds with sulphur, characterized in that the mixture is heated with sulphur at a temperature of 140-250 degrees C, preferably 160-220 degrees C, where the mixture contains at least 3%, preferably 10-80%, of vacuous residue which starts to boil at a temperature above 200 degrees C at a pressure of 5 hPa and which is formed in a process of distilling off fatty alcohols from a post-reaction mixture following selective hydrogenation of fatty acids containing 12-22 carbon atoms per molecule after catalyst has been separated off from it, together with known organic compounds with unsaturated bonds as used in sulphurization processes, such as esters, terpenes and olefins, in a maximum quantity of 97%, preferably 20-90%. |
