Zusammenfassung:	This drum-type washing machine includes a main body that has an opening, on a front face, for loading and unloading laundry, and a lid body that openably and closably covers the opening of the main body. This drum-type washing machine also includes an operation display unit which is provided on the lid body and has an input unit and a display unit. In this drum-type washing machine, the operation display unit is provided on the lid body so that the opening to be provided on the main body can be disposed at a higher position than in the prior art. As a result, the drum-type washing machine can be provided in which usability for loading and unloading clothes is improved for a user.
