Full jacket safety projectile, particularly for multipurpose applications

A full jacket safety projectile, comprising a full jacket and a central penetration core centered in the full jacket, the central penetration core having a front-sided, blind-hole-like recess filled with an explosive agent, the penetration core further having at least one first and one second wedge-shaped constriction along a length thereof, wherein on impact on a target, a resulting central shockwave acting front-sided on the explosive agent and the recess in the penetration core splinters inside the target, wherein the full jacket has, at a frontal area of the penetration core, circumferential notches, wherein the wedge-shaped constrictions and the circumferential notches are arranged such that shockwaves are reflected at the circumferential notches and the wedge- shaped constrictions, and wherein the central shockwave and the reflected shockwaves, which are opposingly directed to the central shockwave, impinge on the explosive agent so that compressions counteracting to each other are generated which directly initiate the explosive agent.
