Zusammenfassung: | Disclosed is an immunogenic composition comprising a split influenza virus antigen when prepared from a virus grown in cell culture, and a Th1 adjuvant in the form of an oil-in-water emulsion comprising oil droplets having a submicron diameter, wherein said emulsion comprises squalene, and wherein said composition does not comprise any egg proteins. Also disclosed is the use of the composition in the manufacture of a medicament for raising an immune response against influenza virus in a subject.
