Electrical connectors and methods for using the same

A busbar assembly (100) for electrically connecting multiple conductors (5, 7), and methods for connecting busbars and conductors, are disclosed. The assembly has a housing that defines an interior cavity and first and second ports (134, 144), each port including a conductor passage and communicating with the interior cavity. The assembly further includes an electrically conductive busbar conductor member located in the interior cavity, at least one holding mechanism to selectively secure each conductor to the conductor member, and sealant in the conductor passages of each of the first and second ports. The conductors (5A, 7A) are inserted through the sealant so that a seal is provided about the inserted conductors.
