It has a mouth and nose mask (14) located inside the face cover and equipped with a demand regulator (16), an oxygen feed connector (18) and head fastenings. The regulator's inlet duct is connected to the face cover's internal ventilation system. The respirator is used in conjunction with a hood which covers the head and has an aperture for the wearer's mouth, nose and eyes, and a curved surround (28) designed to provide a sealing surface for the face cover. |
