The gas is preferably pre-heated to 100-120 C. The glass 7 is preferably at 500-650 C., and is preferably treated while passing from furnace F to an annealing lehr (not shown). The cyclone 6 may move transversely of the glass ribbon, or a plurality of fixed cyclones may be used. |
