Zusammenfassung:	The present invention relates to a traction device (100) for a vehicle wheel. The traction device (100) comprises a pair of coupling means (120), a pair of gripping means (160) and an extendable shaft (140), in which the pair of gripping means (160) is removably affixed on the extendable shaft (140). The pair of coupling means (120) is configured to have the extendable shaft (140) affixed at its proximal end, while comprising a plurality of openings (180) at its distal end. In addition, the pair of coupling means (120) is positioned on the vehicle wheel and fastened by a fastening means (200) via the plurality of openings (180). Also, the distance of the pair of coupling means (120) is adjustable to be proportional to the size of the vehicle wheel. Further, the distance between the pair of gripping means (160) is adjustable by extending or retracting the extendable shaft (140) in order to provide the required traction over the ground surface.
