THIS MEDIUM CONSISTS OF POLY (VINYLIDENE FLUORIDE-CO-HEXAFLUOROPROPYLENE) (PVDF-HFP), POLY(ETHYL METHACRYLATE) (PEMA), AMMONIUM TRIFLUOROMETHANESULFONATE (NH4CF3S03) AND CHROMIUM OXIDE CR2O3. THE FORMATION OF FRACTAL AGGREGATES IN POLYMER ELECTROLYTE FILMS WERE DUE TO IONIC MOVEMENT. THUS, STUDY OF FRACTAL GROWTH OF A POLYMER FILMS IS USEFUL IN UNDERSTANDING THE MOVEMENT OF IONS IN POLYMER ELECTROLYTE FILMS AND THE BEHAVIOR OF THE WHOLE POLYMER ELECTROLYTE FILM SYSTEMS. BESIDES, THE PRESENT INVENTION ALSO PROVIDES A METHOD FOR CHARACTERIZING, MODELING AND SIMULATING A FRACTAL GROWTH OF POLYMER ELECTROLYTE FILMS. THE FRACTAL DIMENSIONS, D, OF THE FRACTAL PATTERNS OBTAINED FROM EXPERIMENTAL AND SIMULATION WORK WERE CALCULATED USING THE BOX-COUNTING METHOD. THE FRACTAL PATTERNS AND DIMENSIONS OF THE SIMULATED FRACTAL PATTERNS WERE COMPARABLE WITH THOSE OBTAINED FROM THE ORIGINAL FRACTALS OBSERVED IN THE POLYMER ELECTROLYTE FILMS. |
