Gas channels (21) that may be connected to a gas feeding device open into surface (22). Una planta de colada en cuerda para colar en forma continua una delgada tira (1) de metal esta equipada con un recipiente (4) para recepcion de fundicion que presenta una desembocadura (5) de colada frente a la cual puede pasar o circular una superficie (8) de colada para recibir la colada (3) en una delgada capa que forma una cuerda (1), y tiene un dispositivo (9) de soporte para la cuerda que recibe la cuerda (1) de la superficie (8) de colada. Para hacer posible la colada de tiras (1) de metal sin que se presenta el peligro de rotura en especial a tasas elevadas de colado, el dispositivo (9) de soporte de la cuerda tiene una superficie (22) esencialmente plana y sustancialmente horizontal que soporta la cuerda (1), en la que desembocan canales (21) de paso o salida de gas que se pueden conectar a una instalacion impulsora del gas.
