Zusammenfassung:The present invention refers to a preparation and evaluation technique of catalytic compositions for n-butane isomerization, which are formed by sulphonated metallic oxides. The preparations were performed by a gel impregnation with a solution carrying a sulphonic compound, the resulting product being subsequently calcinated to obtain the catalyst. The catalysts of the present invention are consti VIII, according to the elements periodic table, said metallic oxides being promoted by the acid action of a sulphonic agent; the oxide contents is comprised within the range of 90-96 percent by weight and 4-10 percent of sulphonic agent. The innovation is further related to the catalytic structure resulting from the process to obtain the same. La invencion se refiere a una técnica de preparacion y evaluacion de composiciones catalíticas para la isomerizacion de n-butano, formados por oxidos metálicos sulfonados, las preparaciones se efectuan por impregnacion de un gel con una solucion portadora de un compuesto sulfonico, posteriormente el producto resultante se calcina para obtener el catalizador. Los catalizadores están constituidos por oxidos metálicos de los grupos IVB, VIIB y VIII de la tabla periodica, promovidos por la accion ácida de un agente sulfonico; el contenido de oxidos está comprendido entre 90-96% en peso y 4-10% del agente sulfonico, la innovacion igualmente se relaciona con la estructura catalítica resultante del procedimiento para obtenerla.
