It has been found that flushability of such composite structures is enhanced when using superabsorbent materials having a ratio of the Absorbency Under Load (AUL) to the Centrifuge Retention Capacity (CRC) of 0.6 or greater, preferably of 0.7 or greater. The AUL test is conducted by means of a demand absorbency tester (100) comprising an absorbency under load apparatus (106).
