Se describe un método y planta para producir lingotes elaboradores de metales, particularmente de acero que tienen áreas en sección transversal de al menos 0.10 m2, de manera preferente de una forma ronda o también cuadrada o rectangular, a través de la fundición de una masa fundida de metal o acero ya sea directamente del cucharón de fundición usando un recipiente intermedio forrado a prueba de fuego de una manera conocida por sí misma en una lingotera corta enfriada con agua abierta hacia abajo y el retiro del lingote en solidificación de la misma por medio de una herramienta de retiro que se puede mover hacia abajo. |
