Zusammenfassung:	The present invention relates to a process for the preparation of a chiral compound according to formula (V) wherein R1 is preferably an alkyl residue preferably having from 1 to 6 carbon atoms, in particular to a process for the preparation of a chiral compound the crystalline chiral compounds as such, and their use for the preparation of an antifungal agent, in particular posaconazole. La presente invención se refiere a un proceso para la preparación de un compuesto quiral de conformidad con la Fórmula (V), en donde R1 de preferencia es un residuo alquilo, que de preferencia tiene de 1 a 6 átomos de carbono, en particular a un proceso para la preparación de un compuesto quiral, al compuesto quiral cristalino como tal, y a su uso para la preparación de un agente antimicótico, en particular posaconazol.
