La presente invención se refiere a un empaque biodegradable, reciclable, compostable, sellable y termoformado para uso en empaques de alimentos, cuidado personal y cuidado del hogar así como a su proceso de fabricación; Problema por resolver: Proporcionar una solución sencilla, de bajo costo y fácil de fabricar, que pueda entrar al horno de cocción y, por lo tanto, resista "altas" temperaturas, que sea compostable, reciclable y biodegradable y, además, elaborada a partir de materias primas renovables y de una fuente no alimentaria; Solución al problema: Para ello se propone un envase biodegradable, dicho envase está compuesto por capas, con un sustrato (10) de papel, y un recubrimiento (20), que recubre el sustrato (10), que comprende una resina biodegradable, dicha resina biodegradable tiene un origen vegetal, el origen vegetal es una fuente no alimentaria.
