En este documento se provee además un método para producir una vela, el cual incluye la etapa de proveer un tarro que tiene una superficie interior, la etapa de prerrecubrir la superficie interior con una molécula hidrofóbica, la etapa de verter una composición de combustible en el tarro, y la etapa de dejar que la composición de combustible solidifique.
