The use of these green unconventional extraction methodologies means that compounds with a higher degree of purity are obtained, energy is used efficiently, the use of polluting solvents is reduced, operating time is reduced and the obtaining of the compounds is optimized. Besides, agroindustrial residues are used, such as coffee pulp, since residues from industries such as food and agriculture constitute a serious and growing environmental problem. Through the present method, a large amount of chlorogenic acid, a bioactive molecule, is recovered. Dehydration, milling, extraction and purification method and their characterization and identification are presented. The chlorogenic acid obtained by this method can be used in different areas such as food, chemical, pharmaceutical, cosmetic, among others.
Se refiere a un proceso para la obtención de ácido clorogénico que comprende las etapas de extracción y purificación a partir de productos naturales como la pulpa de café (Coffea arabica) utilizando metodologías híbridas no convencionales, mediante el uso de ultrasonido y microondas. El uso de estas metodologías verdes de extracción no convencionales hace que se obtengan compuestos con mayor grado de pureza, se utilice de manera eficiente la energía, se disminuya el uso de solventes contaminantes, se reduzca el tiempo de operación y se optimice la obtención de los compuestos. Aparte se utilizan residuos agroindustriales como la pulpa de café, ya que los residuos provenientes de industrias como la alimentaria y agrícola constituyen un grave y creciente problema ambiental. A través del presente método se recupera una gran cantidad de ácido clorogénico, una molécula bioactiva. Se presenta la deshidratación, molienda, método de extracción y purificación y su caracterización e identificación. El ácido clorogénico que se obtienen por este método puede ser utilizado en diferentes áreas como la alimentaria, química, farmacéutica, cosmética, entre otras. |
