Use of the booster loading system (8) along with the curtain wall (6) allows channelling the gas generated during combustion of the fuel in the lower vessel (2) with the air blown in through the primary tuyeres (3) and secondary tuyeres (4), controlling the distribution of gas in the furnace more efficiently.
