Lo que se propone es un procedimiento para preparar la sal trialcalinometálica cristalina de L-MGDA mediante cristalización a partir de una solución acuosa de esta sal, habiéndose obtenido dicha sal por síntesis de Strecker partiendo de L-a-alanina por vía de una reacción con formaldehido y cianuro de hidrógeno con el fin de preparar L-a-alanina-N,N-diacetonitrilo y una subsiguiente hidrólisis alcalina del L-a-alaninaN,N-diacetonitrilo para dar la sal trialcalinometálica de L-MGDA, caracterizado porque en el curso de esa hidrólisis alcalina no se supera la temperatura de 150° C. |
