The steel material for the solid stabilizer contains 0.24 - 0.40% C, 0.15 - 0.40% Si, 0.50 - 1.20% Mn, 0.03% or less P, 0.30% or less Cr, 0.01 - 0.03% Ti and 0.0010 - 0.0030% B by mass. The steel material for the solid stabilizer satisfies the conditions of formula (1).
