Se describe el control de crecimiento terminal de plantas de algodón que da por resultado la productividad mejorada mediante el tratamiento con 1) un compuesto de (inhibición de PPO) inhibición de la enzima protoporfirinogen oxidasa, 2) un compuesto de regulación de crecimiento de cosecha, 3) un compuesto de ruptura de membrana celular o 4) compuestos de (inhibición de AAS) inhibición de síntesis de aminoácido. Es de interés particular el uso de carfentrazona-etilo y ciertos metabolitos del mismo para regular el crecimiento de plantas de algodón. |
