Invenţia se referă la medicină, şi anume la chirurgie, în special, la traumatologie şi ortopedie.Esenţa invenţiei constă în aceea că în prealabil se introduc punctele de orientare în regiunea proiecţiei osului scafoid, se efectuează examinarea roentgenografică, se introduc paralel planului fracturii câte două tije în fiecare fragment osos, se fixează, iar apoi, după scăderea edemului ţesuturilor, se efectuează compresia "dirijată" a câte 0,15 - 0,6 mm pe zi.Rezultatul tehnic al invenţiei propuse constă în adaptarea maximă a fragmentelor osoase, păstrând totodată mişcarea degetelor şi articulaţiei radiocarpiene.
